These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ritmos Sagrados website, your purchase of products and services, and your participation in offerings provided by Ritmos Sagrados (“Ritmos Sagrados,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing this website, purchasing an offering, booking a session, attending an event, participating in an immersion, or otherwise engaging with Ritmos Sagrados, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website or purchase or participate in our offerings.

1. OUR WORK

Ritmos Sagrados offers educational, spiritual, ceremonial, creative, somatic, bodywork, wellness, and experiential offerings.

Depending on the offering, this may include massage/bodywork, sound healing, ceremonial cacao, meditation, ritual, altar work, energy-based practices, herbal and botanical offerings, educational teachings, workshops, gatherings, immersions, digital content, and other forms of holistic or spiritual practice.

Our offerings are intended to support personal exploration, relaxation, reflection, education, ritual, creativity, and wellbeing.

Ritmos Sagrados does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or medical or psychological conditions unless expressly stated otherwise within the scope of a separately licensed professional service.

Our offerings are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, psychological, nutritional, legal, financial, or other professional advice or treatment.

You remain responsible for making your own healthcare and personal decisions and for seeking qualified professional care when appropriate.

2. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

Every person's experience is different.

Ritmos Sagrados makes no guarantees regarding any particular physical, emotional, energetic, spiritual, psychological, financial, relational, or other outcome from participation in our offerings.

Testimonials and personal experiences shared by Ritmos Sagrados or its community represent individual experiences only and are not guarantees of results.

3. PARTICIPATION IS VOLUNTARY

Participation in any Ritmos Sagrados offering is voluntary.

You are responsible for listening to your own body, capacity, boundaries, intuition, and discernment.

You may decline, modify, pause, or discontinue an activity at any time.

You agree to communicate with your practitioner, facilitator, or Ritmos Sagrados representative if you experience discomfort, pain, distress, or if you need an adjustment.

4. HEALTH, MEDICAL CONDITIONS & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Before participating in an offering involving physical, sensory, botanical, dietary, ceremonial, or other experiential practices, you are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for you.

You agree to disclose to the appropriate practitioner or facilitator any information that may reasonably affect your ability to participate safely, including relevant allergies, sensitivities, injuries, medications, pregnancy, medical conditions, recent procedures, or other circumstances that may affect participation.

Ritmos Sagrados may decline, modify, postpone, or discontinue participation when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary for safety.

If you have questions about whether an offering is appropriate for you, consult your physician or another appropriately licensed healthcare professional before participating.

5. BODYWORK & MASSAGE

Where massage or bodywork is offered, services are provided within the scope of the practitioner's applicable training and licensure.

Massage and bodywork may involve physical contact, pressure, movement, stretching, oils, fragrances, sound, temperature changes, or other sensory experiences.

You understand that temporary soreness, tenderness, fatigue, emotional responses, or other reactions may occur.

You agree to communicate your comfort level and boundaries throughout the session.

Nothing in a bodywork session should be interpreted as a diagnosis or replacement for medical care.

6. CEREMONIAL, SOMATIC & SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES

Some Ritmos Sagrados offerings may involve meditation, ritual, ceremonial cacao, sound, breath awareness, movement, emotional exploration, spiritual practices, or other experiential modalities.

These experiences may evoke physical sensations, emotions, memories, insights, or other internal experiences.

You understand that such experiences are inherently personal and unpredictable.

Ritmos Sagrados does not guarantee or represent that participation will produce a particular emotional, psychological, spiritual, or energetic result.

You remain responsible for determining whether a particular practice is appropriate for you.

7. HERBAL, BOTANICAL & APOTHECARY PRODUCTS

Ritmos Sagrados may offer botanical and apothecary products, including but not limited to herbs, teas, tinctures, flower essences, oils, candles, smokes, and other handmade or plant-based preparations.

These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease unless expressly represented as a separately regulated product and service.

Botanical products may affect individuals differently.

You are responsible for reviewing ingredients, following provided directions, considering allergies and sensitivities, and consulting a qualified healthcare professional regarding potential interactions with medications, pregnancy, medical conditions, or other individual circumstances.

Do not use a product if you know or suspect that you are allergic or sensitive to an ingredient.

8. CANDLES, FIRE & PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

Candles and other products involving flame, heat, smoke, fragrance, oils, herbs, or natural materials must be used responsibly.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep candles and other heat-producing products away from children, animals, flammable materials, drafts, and combustible surfaces.

You are responsible for using products according to their intended purpose and any safety instructions provided.

9. ORDERS, PAYMENTS & SALES

Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By submitting an order or booking a service, you authorize Ritmos Sagrados or its authorized payment processor to process the applicable payment.

Prices, offerings, availability, descriptions, and policies may change at any time.

We reserve the right to correct errors, cancel orders, or decline transactions when reasonably necessary, including in cases of pricing or inventory errors.

10. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING & NO-SHOWS

Because Ritmos Sagrados is a small, appointment-based practice, reserved time is held specifically for each client.

Unless a different policy is stated on the booking page or service agreement for a particular offering:

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice may be rescheduled or credited according to the applicable offering.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to the full session fee.
No-shows may be charged the full session fee.
Late arrival does not necessarily extend the scheduled appointment.
If you arrive late, the session may be shortened while the full reserved time remains billable.
Deposits and booking fees may be non-refundable where stated at the time of booking.

Specific event, immersion, retreat, workshop, package, or product policies may supersede this general policy when clearly stated at the time of purchase.

11. REFUNDS

Because certain services involve reserved time, preparation, custom materials, limited-capacity gatherings, and/or digital access, refunds are generally not available after an offering has been delivered or access has been provided, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in the applicable offering's terms.

Nothing in this section is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws.

Where appropriate, Ritmos Sagrados may, at its discretion, offer a credit, transfer, rescheduling option, or other remedy.

12. EVENTS, GATHERINGS & IMMERSIONS

For gatherings, ceremonies, workshops, retreats, immersions, and other group experiences, you agree to:

Respect the physical and emotional boundaries of other participants.
Follow reasonable safety instructions.
Respect the confidentiality and privacy of other participants.
Refrain from harassment, discrimination, threatening conduct, or disruptive behavior.
Not attend while intoxicated or under the influence of substances that may impair safe participation unless expressly permitted as part of the specific offering.
Take responsibility for your own transportation, belongings, and personal needs unless otherwise stated.

Ritmos Sagrados reserves the right to refuse or end participation when reasonably necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing, or integrity of the community or offering.

13. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

You are responsible for your personal belongings while attending Ritmos Sagrados offerings.

Ritmos Sagrados is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & RECORDING

Certain gatherings may be photographed, filmed, or recorded for documentation, educational, promotional, or archival purposes.

Where recording occurs, Ritmos Sagrados will make reasonable efforts to respect participant privacy and communicate recording practices.

Participants may not photograph, record, livestream, or distribute another participant's image, voice, personal story, or contribution without appropriate permission.

Additional consent may be requested for identifiable promotional use.

15. CONFIDENTIALITY & COMMUNITY CARE

Ritmos Sagrados honors the privacy of its community.

Participants are expected to treat personal information, stories, experiences, and identities shared within private sessions, circles, ceremonies, workshops, and gatherings as confidential.

However, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Ritmos Sagrados cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality in group environments or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All original content created by Ritmos Sagrados—including written teachings, rituals, ceremonies, course materials, guidebooks, artwork, photographs, videos, audio, recordings, designs, language, branding, logos, frameworks, and other materials—is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Your purchase or participation does not transfer ownership of Ritmos Sagrados intellectual property to you.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, publish, sell, teach, license, modify, record, or commercially exploit Ritmos Sagrados materials without prior written permission.

Personal notes for personal use are permitted unless otherwise stated.

17. DIGITAL OFFERINGS

For digital courses, immersions, recordings, downloads, memberships, and other digital offerings, access is granted for the period and purpose described at purchase.

You may not share login credentials, redistribute recordings, reproduce course materials, or provide unauthorized access to another person.

Digital access may be revoked if materials are shared, copied, redistributed, or used in violation of these Terms.

18. WEBSITE CONTENT

The information provided on this website is offered for general educational and informational purposes.

Although we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee that all website content will always be complete, current, accurate, or error-free.

Website content should not be relied upon as individualized professional advice.

19. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES

The website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, payment processors, booking systems, social media platforms, or other services.

Ritmos Sagrados does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, security, availability, or practices of third-party services.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their applicable terms and policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Ritmos Sagrados does not warrant that the website, its content, or any digital service will always be uninterrupted, secure, complete, or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ritmos Sagrados and its owners, practitioners, facilitators, contractors, representatives, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the website or participation in an offering.

Where permitted by law, the maximum aggregate liability of Ritmos Sagrados arising from a particular purchase or service will be limited to the amount actually paid by you for that specific purchase or service.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit liability that cannot legally be waived or limited.

22. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

You acknowledge that certain Ritmos Sagrados offerings may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical touch, movement, sound, vibration, heat, candles or flame, botanical ingredients, dietary ingredients, emotional experiences, group participation, travel, and other experiential activities.

By voluntarily participating, you acknowledge these inherent risks and agree to exercise reasonable care and personal responsibility.

23. INDEMNIFICATION

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ritmos Sagrados, its owners, practitioners, facilitators, contractors, representatives, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your unlawful conduct, misuse of our offerings or materials, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights.

24. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Ritmos Sagrados reserves the right to decline, suspend, or discontinue services or participation when reasonably necessary, including for safety concerns, harassment, inappropriate conduct, repeated policy violations, nonpayment, or circumstances that make the offering inappropriate or unsafe.

Nothing in this provision authorizes unlawful discrimination.

25. PRIVACY

Your use of this website is also subject to the Ritmos Sagrados Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy separately to understand how information submitted through the website may be collected, used, stored, and disclosed.

26. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Ritmos Sagrados may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will be posted on this website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of the website or participation in offerings after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

27. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your relationship with Ritmos Sagrados shall be handled in accordance with applicable California law and any dispute-resolution provisions that are separately agreed upon and legally enforceable.

28. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

29. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with any applicable service-specific policies, booking agreements, consent forms, waivers, privacy policies, and other written agreements incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of the website and participation in the applicable offering.

Where a service-specific agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the service-specific agreement will control for that particular offering.
