The Turning of the Wheel: Spring Equinox Ceremony

The seasonal wheel is turning

We gather to honor this threshold. To turn the wheel, intentionally together.

The wheel has been turning since before memory. And once again, it arrives — the moment when darkness and light stand heart to heart, in perfect balance.

We gather to honor this threshold. To turn with the wheel, intentionally, together. You will be welcomed into the warmth of the heart — your own and each other's — as we open in ceremony and receive the ancient medicine of Cacao. Inviting her to sway us into the heart so we may then lay down and be carried — on a sound journey woven through the threshold of Spring Equinox.

As the sun descends and the sky holds both its last light and the first whisper of dark, you will travel through that sacred in-between. The place where seasons breathe into one another. Where something in you, too, is quietly shifting.

When you rise, you will be invited to write a love letter to Winter & Spring. To name what you are calling forward. To give thanks to the darkness that held you, the winter that asked you to turn inward.

This is the invitation of the equinox: to honor the shadow as you step into the light. To carry both, rather than leave one behind.

We will then step out into the garden to gather around the fire where we will share our intentions and close in prayer.

You do not need to know the language of ceremony to be held by it.

You only need to arrive and allow yourself to be held.

The heart of Spring will do the rest.
